Privacy policy

OxidIELTS ("we") runs IELTS practice tests and marks them, partly with automated services. This page says what we collect, why, who else handles it on our behalf, how long we keep it, and what you can do about it. Questions:info@oxidielts.com.

Institutes

Some coaching institutes run their own site on OxidIELTS, under their name. If you use one, the institute decides how your results are used for its classes, and its owner and teachers can see your work (see "Who sees what"). We provide and run the service for them under this policy. For questions about how your institute uses your results, ask the institute.

What we collect

How we use it

We do not sell your data, and we do not show advertising.

Automated marking

Writing, Speaking and live Speaking tests are marked by AI services. Bands from them are estimates for practice, not IELTS results, and a teacher can review and replace them.

Who sees what

Where your data is processed

Our servers and service providers are cloud services, and your data may be stored or processed outside Bangladesh, including in the United States, the European Union and China. We send each provider only what it needs for its part of the service.

How long we keep it

Your choices

Cookies and storage in your browser

We use a cookie to keep you signed in, one to protect forms against misuse, and one that recognises your device so your account is used on one device at a time. Your browser also stores your display choices (such as contrast, text size, language and your highlights in a test). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Security

Passwords are stored only as a secure hash. Speaking recordings and payment screenshots are kept privately and shown only to people allowed to see them. All connections to OxidIELTS are encrypted.

Children

If you are under 18, please use OxidIELTS with the permission of a parent or guardian.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell signed-in users by email before the change takes effect.
